INPENS International College
Part I- Meet-up with YB Dr. Xavier Jayakumar
It is a golden opportunity for students who did not fair to well in their SPM examination. INPENS International College, a well-known Skills Training Institute that is located in Kuala Selangor runs courses ranging from Automotive, Electrical to Mechanical and etc.
Unfortunately of course, interested applicants would have to apply and there would be a fair chance of ‘Yes or No’. Nevertheless, one man made it possible to allow interested applicants to be enrolled by the Institute. A total of 66 students diligently selected by EWRF were seen awaiting at the Selangor State building to meet-up with YB Dr. Xavier Jayakumar.

YB was to have a face-to-face chat with them before he opened the doors of INPENS to them. He mentioned of his appreciation to the youths who are a step away to life-advancement.
It was all smiles as both parties were days away to Registration. Upon completion of courses, certificates (Level 1) will be awarded to the students to ensure a brighter future in the work-field for them.
Part II-Registration Day at INPENS
The ever-eager Selangor-ian youths were seen awaiting at the registration booth on 20th January 2010. Smartly dressed students, with their parents along-side, they were all ready to register for their respective courses.

EWRF volunteers, Sugu Anil and Saravanan Raghu ware part of the lucky students who got enrolled in this session. Ms. Selvamalar (Executive Director) and a few of our officers attended the Registration Day to give encouragement and applaud the positive participation of the students.
We also got to explore the Institute’s surrounding. We were pleased to note of the Institute’s clean, and refreshing environment, ever so suitable for studies. There was even a special cafeteria that served food specifically for Indian students there.
Part III-Week 1 since inception of classes
Happy faces were still seen when our team headed by Ms. Malar made a random visit to the College on 29th January 2010.
We were so touched and overwhelmed as we were greeted by a culturally infused environment. Ponggal celebration was in progress. The students were all pleasantly dressed up in colourful traditional clothes.
Looking back, there was one of the students who was involved in unhealthy activities and who seemed to practically have no future, but there he was, responsibly heading the group to conduct the celebrations.
We were so happy to feel the happiness of the students!
Readers, do you want to witness and experience the fun and joy at INPENS? Call us up and we’ll make arrangements!
