Seminar Lembaga Pengelola Sekolah (LPS)

On the 31st of October 2009, all of Selangor’s and Kuala Lumpur’s Headmasters, PIBG Heads and School Board Members were invited to attend a Seminar at Wisma Peladang, Petaling Jaya. This seminar aims to educate and encourage Tamil Schools to form School Boards for the betterment of the schools in Malaysia. A team of press members were invited to ensure a full coverage of the event.
The day started with a full blast attendance of the invited school personnel. After registration each of them were presented with a goodie bag that contained Guidance Book to forming a school board, EWRF souvenirs and relevant forms. The event began with a Multimedia presentation, followed by a short speech by Mr. Pasupathi, president of EWRF and the representative of Headmasters,
Mr. Doraisamy. Timbalan Pengarah Pelajaran Bahagian Dasar & Pembangunan proceeded to officiate the event. Certificates of appreciation were presented followed by a talk on the School Board formation by Tamil Foundation President, Mr. Uthayasooriyan.
The mega event was concluded with an appreciation speech by the Project Director of the LPS event, Mr. Thiyagarajan.
