Meeting of COMIN

A short meeting was held on the 21st November at EWRF’s meeting room.
Attendees were, Datuk A. Vaithilingam, Advisor of Malaysia Hindu Sangam, Mr. Gunaraj from Pusat Khidmat Majlis and Mr. Vickneswaran who is a consultant & programmer. From EWRF, Mr. Prabhu, IT co-ordinator and Ms. Asha, Project Director attended the meeting too. The purpose of the meeting was about the setting up of COMIN (Coalition of Malaysian Indian NGOs). EWRF has been elected as the secretariat for the coalition. Thus, all administrative related matters, or meetings will be held here.

Members of the meeting briefly introduced themselves and Datuk Vaithilingam briefly explained that Mr. Vickneswaran will be in-charge of the server connection and Mr. Gunaraj will be the secretary.
For translation purposes, they have elected Mr. Prabhu to assist as he is proficient in both Tamil and English language.
All matters discussed were dutifully recorded by Ms. Asha and the meeting was adjourned a short while later.
