Donation & Refund – Terms and Conditions
In compliance with the Subseksyen 44(6) of Income Tax Act 1967 (ACP 1967), EWRF submits its accounts to an external auditor and provides donors’ information to Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) for review every year.
Donation
- All donations shall be in Ringgit Malaysia (MYR) only. Your donation shall be used at our discretion but within our stated mission and vision statements, subject to the prevailing laws and regulations of Malaysia.
- All donations through the Website are to be made by credit card, debit card, online transfer (FPX), e-wallet and others payment method. iPay88 Internet Payment Service is operated by iPay88 (M) Sdn Bhd., a Malaysian payment gateway. iPay88 (M) Sdn Bhd will be shown on your Credit Card / Bank statement and you shall receive a notification e-mail from iPay88 for any transaction.
- You are required to provide complete information of the details stipulated below in order to obtain an official receipt or tax-exemption receipt from EWRF including full name of donor, NRIC No. / Passport No., Business registration number. (for organizations) and complete address. We also require your email address to send the e-receipt (pdf). We will use this information to process your donation. It is your responsibility to ensure you have provided us with the correct information.
- EWRF shall not issue official receipts or tax exemption receipts to donors who fail to provide their complete personal information.
- Donations of RM50.00 and above will be issued a tax-deductible receipt by EWRF.
- If you require a tax exemption receipt, kindly ensure you have completed the registration page. Only fully completed information will be processed and issued tax exemption receipts.
- Upon successful processing of your donations, a tax exemption receipt shall be sent by email to the email address provided as provided in the Donation Form or payment gateway site.

- All official receipts or tax exemption receipts are typically processed at the end of every month. If you require immediately / urgently, please send your request by email to admin@ewrf.com.my
- Kindly take note that all donations may be irrevocable e.g. after the official receipts or tax exemption receipts have been processed and / or sent-out.
Refund
- Our donors are important to us. With your support, we are able to help the children of the B40 / underprivileged community. Kindly take note that all donations are irrevocable. Decisions on refunds will be made on a case-by-case basis after analysis of the particular circumstances of the donation.
- EWRF shall consider a refund in the specific circumstances listed below upon a justified request from the donor:
a) We shall refund your donation if there was an error made by EWRF.
b) We shall refund your donation if the donation was made unknowingly, for example in a situation where a donation was made with a stolen or lost card.
c) We may refund if you have accidentally entered the wrong amount.
d) We may refund if you have accidentally created a monthly donation whereas your intention was to make a one-off donation.
e) We may refund in other similar exceptional circumstances.
3. To request a refund of your donation made to EWRF, please send an email to admin@ewrf.org.my within seven (7) days from the date of the donation.
4. EWRF shall only issue a refund to the same card or account from which the donation was made. This includes all credit and debit card payments, PayPal, direct debit, and all other payment methods currently available at our website.
5. If you wish to request a refund, please fill out our contact form and provide:
a) full name and NRIC / Passport No.
b) email address provided when making the donation
c) mobile / phone number
d) date on which the donation was made
e) the amount of the relevant donation
f) payment method and
g) all relevant circumstances justifying your request.
Upon receipt EWRF shall review your request and endeavour to respond to you within five (5) business days. If the request is accepted, we will process the refund as soon as possible. Please note that it may take 10-14 business days until a refund reaches your account.
