A 30 week programme designed to develop self-
belief by learning the Bahasa Melayu and English language
Language is a powerful tool for change as it enhances communication, learning, and social mobility. L4J helps B40 students master English and Bahasa Malaysia, bridging educational and socio-economic gaps. By fostering inclusivity across diverse schools, it promotes unity and cultural understanding while ensuring equitable education, empowering students for a better future.
We believe every child is born equal, and all they need is a fair chance to unlock their potential. With L4J, children often seen as low performers are taught the joy of learning through fun English and Bahasa Melayu modules. Trained facilitators guide them to build confidence and believe in themselves.
English and Bahasa Melayu are vital tools for children from low-income households to build confidence and succeed. Without support, they risk academic struggles and falling behind peers who have better language learning environments at home.
L4J offers 30 weeks of interactive learning, with 90 hours each of Bahasa Melayu and English. Through storytelling, role-playing, and group activities, students develop communication skills in small groups of 15. Personalized attention, regular assessments, and mentor guidance ensure steady progress in a fun and supportive environment.
At the end of the 20-week L4J program, students come together to celebrate by performing in English and Bahasa Melayu, showcasing their newfound confidence through singing, dancing, and acting. This event highlights their growth and joy for learning.
Each and every student are given a recognition and presented with an award rewarding them for their commitment, discipline and accomplishment at the end of the programme.
