MUAR – EWRF Muar Branch has introduced yoga as a new component of its student development programme, benefiting 12 existing and new participants. The weekly sessions aim to enhance physical well-being, mental focus, and emotional balance among young learners.
Held alongside the branch’s regular English classes, the yoga programme supports EWRF’s holistic approach to education—nurturing not only academic ability but also overall wellness. IPOH – EWRF Ipoh Branch and the Perak Caring Association have agreed to collaborate on community projects across Ipoh’s Kinta District. The partnership, discussed with Association President Mdm Pathma Devi, includes student enrollment in the free “Learning Achieving Believing” (LAB) SPM tuition programme. Supported by Yayasan Hasanah and the Ministry of Finance, LAB offers underprivileged students specialised coaching from qualified experts, including Mathematics specialist Mr. Gopinath Suprimaniam and Guru Cemerlang Sejarah Mr. S. Sivanandam. The initiative strengthens academic support for youth through experienced trainers and structured learning.
IPOH – EWRF Ipoh Branch has launched a five-month music education programme for 10 Orang Asli students from Shalom Marian Hostel in Tambun. Each student received a sponsorship of RM30 for classes with a qualified teacher, aimed at nurturing creativity, confidence, and discipline. KLUANG – EWRF Kluang Branch has initiated a targeted Bahasa Melayu Academic Assistance program to support students from its Program Anak Angkat and branch members in preparing for SPM and End Year Examinations. IPOH – EWRF Ipoh Branch is providing critical support for a Year 6 student from SJKT Changkat Kinding who suffers from interstitial lung disease. The student has required supplemental oxygen in the classroom for the past two years and, due to worsening respiratory difficulties, now needs a continuous 3-litre oxygen supply around the clock. Following a needs assessment at the school, EWRF Ipoh is coordinating closely with the student’s mother to source oxygen tanks. This welfare initiative highlights the foundation’s ongoing commitment to addressing urgent health needs within the educational community, ensuring vulnerable students receive essential support.
KULAI – On 24 September 2025, EWRF Johor Bahru was honoured to be invited by SMK Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra, Kulai to conduct an impactful session addressing adolescent issues, career guidance, and motivation. Held from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, the three-hour programme aimed to inspire and support students as they navigated personal development and future planning challenges. To foster a warm and engaging environment, EWRF JB also sponsored lunch for 54 students and 6 facilitators.
